Some of the tablets come with a free copy of PE which is a plus in my mind. I've also become interested in Photoshop Elements but haven't forked out the $99 yet. I wouldn't object to a slightly larger pen/tablet, but want to keep a small footprint just because it fits nicely on my desk. The 4x5" format has been fine for what I do. It's especially valuable to me with machine embroidery editing and digitizing also all the pictures I edit and post and the files for my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine. I made it a point to learn how to use my Graphire and therefore use it in place of the mouse all the time. If I'm paying that much for the pen alone, I think maybe I should look into newer technology. Replacements on are advertised between $30-$40. Last night the replacement pen fell into 3 pieces. I found a compatible replacement and with much whining and complaining forked out $15 + shipping. Roughly 5 years ago the original pen went bonkers and had to be replaced. About 15 years ago I purchased a Wacom Graphire Pen/Tablet for use with embroidery editing/digitizing.
